By applying precise pressure to specific reflex zones, Gerard works to release tension, improve circulation, and encourage the body's own healing processes. Sessions typically last 60–75 minutes and leave most clients feeling deeply rested and refreshed. Reflexology is particularly beneficial for stress-related conditions, sleep difficulties, tension headaches, and general fatigue.

Unlike sports or clinical massage, holistic massage works with the whole person — body, mind, and emotional landscape. Using a blend of Swedish, lymphatic, and intuitive techniques, each session is tailored to what you need on that particular day. The work may be gentle and slow, or more firm and grounding, depending on the treatment. Regular sessions help to release chronic holding patterns, reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and restore a felt sense of ease in the body.

Energy healing works on the principle that the body carries not just physical tissue but a dynamic field of life-force energy. During an energy healing session with Gerard, you remain fully clothed and at rest. Hands are held lightly on or above the body as energy is invited to move, release, and rebalance. Many people experience warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, or a quiet sense of relief.

Meditation is perhaps the most practical tool available to us — and yet it can feel elusive or out of reach. Gerard's meditation classes draw on multiple traditions (mindfulness, breath awareness, visualisation, body scan, and loving-kindness practice) to offer a varied and accessible entry point. Classes are suitable for complete beginners and for those who have tried meditation but felt they "couldn't do it". Over time, a regular practice builds genuine resilience, mental clarity, and a quieter relationship with your own thoughts.

Sound Therapy
Using resonant instruments and healing frequencies to induce deep states of relaxation, support meditation, and promote cellular wellbeing.
Sound therapy at Original Health uses singing bowls, tuning forks, and other resonant instruments to create a sonic environment that supports deep rest and healing. The vibrations work on a cellular level, helping to entrain the nervous system to slower brainwave states associated with deep meditation and sleep. Sessions can be experienced lying down, in silence, with eyes closed — simply receiving the sound. Clients often describe the experience as profoundly peaceful, deeply restorative, and unlike anything else they have tried.
